Abstract. The introduction of strategic changes and technological innovations in the retail services market (RSM) under the influence of digitalization requires a conceptual scientific understanding of the theoretical and applied vectors of its development. The article proposes the architectonics of the conception of the development of RSM in the context of digitalization, including normative and legal, evolutionary and paradigmatic, theoretical and discursive, methodological, and organizational and practical concepts. The legislative platform for the development of RSM in the context of digitalization is substantiated, which regulates the activities of retail enterprises and the digital environment in the Russian Federation. The evolutionary and paradigmatic concept reveals the etymological-conceptual relationship of key categories that form the essential-substantive construct of the RSM in the context of digitalization, proposes a definition of the essence of the concept of “development of the retail services market in the context of digitalization,” and presents the author’s vision of the continuum of scientific theories, laws, and evolutionary models of the development of RSM in the digital economy. As a result of the substantiation of the theoretical and discursive concept, the main idea, goal, subject, and object of the study were determined, and the composition of the subjects and functions of the RSM under the influence of digital transformations were clarified. In order to form a methodological concept, the principles, criteria, and methods of digital development of RSM have been identified and generalized. Organizational and practical mechanisms and strategies for digital transformation of retail enterprises’ activities are proposed, which reveal the applied provisions of the concept of development of RSM in the context of digitalization.
