annotationThe authors substantiate the influence of the environment on population specifics of psychophysiological status of inhabitants and consider climate and geographical peculiarities of Volgograd region as well as its anthropogenic features. Taking into account these specificities the authors suggest territorial gradation of the region into western, central, and eastern zones, and define a set of factors of potential influence on the population functional status of the region inhabitants’ bodies.
