Annotation: The attempt to consider trends in the small-size enterprise development of Volgograd oblast’ under the crisis is undertaken. The author points out the negative factors influencing the small-size enterprise activity in the current situation and suggests venture programs on developing and supporting small-size enterprises at the cost of the budgetary funds.
