annotation: This article discusses the possibility of efficient generation of cultural landscapes within regional protected areas as one of the features of optimization of the rational management and protection nature of the steppe regions at present. The formation of “cultural” landscapes on their territory is encouraged to be managed through science-based organization of their internal structure, and establishing regimes of nature management.
