annotation: The separate peace treaty, signed between Soviet Russia and the countries of the German coalition in March of 1918 in Brest-Litovsk, caused the country’s immense economic damage. In addition, the Brest Peace justified the imposition of economic sanctions against Russia from the Entente countries.
