Annotation: The necessity of re-thinking the subject matter of economic theory and of creating the theoretical and methodological bases to enable the research of the new processes at the megalevel of the global economic system resulting in the megeconomy objects diversity growth, including megacities, mega regions, megacenters, megaprojects, meganets, is argued. The scientific definition of mega economy as the specific sphere of highest level derivative relations in the global economy border layer is proposed.
