Annotation: The article deals with the issue of the experience of Spain modernization and opportunities of using this experience in Russia. The analysis is focused on finding the «key stone» of successful modernization – compromises between main Russian politic forces taking into consideration the following aspects: aims, dynamics, stages of development in the course of the process.
