Abstract. The article is devoted to the problem of interaction of government and business at the regional level in the sphere of public health care. The author examines the necessity of horizontal coordination of strategies of social and economic development of region and business structures on the territory. The author notes that, in fact, this process begins to get widespread. It is less effective and has a formal character. Special attention is also paid to the instruments of improving government and business interaction such as public-private partnership, social partnership and marketing approach. The author emphasizes that interaction of government and business must be coordinated and directed by attainment of the public good. Therefore, the author suggests the model of interaction of public-private partnership for the sphere of public health care, which will contribute to the development of coordination of interests of regional authorities, business community and population.
