Abstract. This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the current state and key trends in the global healthcare market based on statistics from the World Health Organization (WHO), including the dynamics of current health expenditure (CHE) and healthy life expectancy (HALE) in six global regional groups. The aim of the study is to identify the structural features of the global market, determine the factors of its transformation, and assess interregional differences that reflect the level of resource availability and institutional maturity of health systems. The results of the analysis show that the global market is demonstrating steady growth due to demographic aging, an increase in the prevalence of chronic non-communicable diseases, and accelerated digitalization of the medical sector. At the same time, significant disparities between regions have been identified: developed countries are characterized by high HALE, mature infrastructure, and stable investment, while low-income countries face a shortage of financial and human resources, limited access to medical care, and low resilience to crises. Particular attention is paid to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has revealed the institutional vulnerability of national systems and at the same time has become a catalyst for the introduction of telemedicine and digital solutions. Based on a summary of the identified patterns, strategic directions for the further development of the sector have been identified: increasing individual spending, transitioning to preventive and personalized medicine, deepening digitalization, increasing regional differentiation, and strengthening the resilience of health systems. The results obtained from a theoretical and empirical basis for further research and the development of national strategies for modernizing the industry.

Key words: global healthcare market, healthcare, digitalization, telemedicine, artificial intelligence, demographic aging.
