Abstract. The article examines the problem of modeling a strategy for promoting non-profit projects for the development of urban space. The relevance of the article is beyond doubt, since identifying the features of promoting projects to create a high-quality urban environment is an important management stage in the development of urban non-profit projects. The authors have identified the features of non-profit projects, as well as the specifics of developing a strategy for promoting non-commercial urban projects of the city landscape. The research methods used are analysis, generalization, induction and deduction, and comparison. The author’s definition of the project strategy for promoting is given in the work; an example of the justification for the need to implement a strategy for promoting the mission of a bicycle route project with a functional character for the city of Karaganda in order to create advantages for the development of urban infrastructure is given. Main results and conclusions: when developing a strategy for promoting a non-profit project, it is necessary to take into account the modern layout and functional differentiation of the city, the type of project, the model of the urban planning strategy of the project, as well as the features of non-profit projects as such and the specifics of urban projects to improve the urban environment.
