Annotation: The article attempts to clarify the existing definitions of the terms used in the study of legal and illegal processes of mergers and acquisitions of companies. The author reveals the peculiarities of corporate raids in modern Russian economy from a perspective of security of a company. The substantiated practical measures to combat illegal raiding at the stage of its prevention, implementation and impact are the focal points.
